Rafi Islam, PhD
CEO/CTO
Rafi has over 20+ years of experience in advanced materials and processing in semiconductor, energy, sensors, and ceramics. He worked at Intel corporation as an Engineering Manager for more than 12+ years. He managed diffusion 14/10 nm node technology (thin film) manufacturing at AzFSM (Fab 32) and lead large organization >70 employees with direct/indirect reports with cost management of >$100M/Yr. Previously he lead Intel lithography research and development of 7/5 nm node packaging technology and transferred innovation to x-geo located high volume manufacturing. He was founding member of Intel Corporation's substrate packaging technology development (SPTD) research hub. Previously, he worked at EVG, Inc and owned process engineering of wafer bonding and lithography tools. In addition, he is an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University (ASU), conducting research in materials for energy & clean water, semiconductors and teaching graduate courses on semiconductor materials and processing. He has many patents and written over 100+ technical reports, 30+ peer reviewed papers in various journals. He served as Co-chair of Embedded System, Intel ISEF, panel member of Semicon Southwest for MEMS, committee member for High Density Package at IPC, and 3D integration and wafer bonding at IMAPs. Rafi received PhD in Material/Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU), BSc from BUET in Chemical Engineering. He has business education from Harvard Business/Intel-Co-hort in Leadership Direct/Leading People. Outside work, he participates in Ironman/Marathon.

Roger Spencer, BS (EE/MSE), MBA
Director of Sales
Roger is an an accomplished senior process engineer with 31 years of experience in semiconductor product, process and equipment management at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Intel Corporation. With vast experience in project management and team leadership, Roger brings much enthusiasm and strong communication skills to the Cactus team. Roger has authored and co-authored papers on semiconductor process and yield technology in numerous journal publications and he has received multiple awards at DEC and Intel. Roger received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science (Dual Major) at Cornell University and an MBA from Babson College.

Tofael Ahmed, MS
Director of Business Development and Sales
Tofael has 30+ years of professional experience in semiconductor process technology, development and sustaining. He was director of engineering at Maxim Integrated and Engineering Position at Xerox. His last position was an Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation. With years of process engineering and management experience in semiconductor, Tofael brings wealth of knowledge and leadership to Cactus team. His primary focus will be both in business development and sales at Cactus. Tofael primarily manages Wafer Nanobonding and Roll to Roll Manufacturing in Flexible Electronics. Tofael has authored and co-authored papers on semiconductor process, and received awards for team excellence from Xerox Corp and award for first time functional chip from Intel Corp. Tofael received BS in Ch Eng from University of California, Berkeley and MS in Engineering Management from University of California, Irvine.

Business Operation/IP Control Manager
Wey Lyn has a wealth of experience in Materials Science, 3D printing, and Precision Cleaning. Along with experience in technology management, she is a part of the new product development team where she is involved in the design and testing stages. Additionally, she coordinates research and development work with Arizona State University (ASU) and other research institutions.
